    Klemmer being shopped…

    IMO Manly have fallen into the Warriors trap of 10 years ago, big pack and good halves that gas themselves after 25 minutes and get run over by the opposition.     Talua was on the bench for tigers last week and didn’t even get used. He is signed with Manly for next year so Tigers may let him go, pay Tigers $50k transfer fee and Talua the remainder of his contract for this year. Garrick can them move to Fullback and have Weeks at 14.

    If you could buy an available fullback for rest of the season rather than use Garrick you would be looking at Dane Laurie, Charlie Staines, possibly CKN if you offered 2 year deal, maybe Lachlan Miller.

    Any chance of managing the cap by signing Tommy to $50k per game, could cost Manly $1m per season or more likely $500k for the 10 games he plays each year.

    Think we have some really good backline options with a bit of depth (Tommy comes back next year), just not competing in n the forwards, Aloiai and then that’s it for the front row. AFB come back please and sparing that we need to pick up a hardship running prop to partner Aloiai.

    Des is hanging around so can we look for some help in the assist coach role, sounds crazy but Jason Taylor is a good defensive coach, I like Harper and Saab in attack but it would be great if they held a defensive pattern as well
