    Is Mestrov really our Messiah?

I am just listening to all of that interview ...... it's 20 minutes. How can you say Mestrov is a dud? He comes across as very reasonable and sensible.

Game Day: Manly V Eels [Round 4, 2025]

Turbo reported MCL ..... Dr Google says ...... How long does it take for a torn MCL to heal? The time it takes to fully recover from an MCL tear depends on how severe the tear is. A grade 1 (mild) MCL tear usually heals within one to three weeks. A grade 2 (moderate) MCL tear generally takes...

and the circus continues...... Manly CEO Tony Mestrov tells a fib in order to keep his word to Daly Cherry-Evans Two weeks ago Phil Rothfield called Tony Mestrov about a rumour sweeping through rugby league circles about Daly Cherry-Evans. So why did the Manly boss lie? Phil Rothfield Two...

The real reason Cherry-Evans fell out of love with the Sea Eagle Danny Weidler The doublespeak and spin surrounding Daly Cherry-Evans’ relationship with Manly requires a team of investigators to sift through and understand. But the bad blood between the Sea Eagles and their skipper can be traced...

    Pre-Game Manly V Eels [Round 4, 2025]

Our season will look very interesting if we lose this one..... the next few games Round 5: Storm Round 6: Cronulla Round 7: Dragons Round 8: Panthers Round 9: Bye Round 10: Cronulla We don't normally do well against the Dragon so we'll know whether the team has a real chance after ......

Maybe by the media ..... to me it is a made up concept to sell advertising and hype. It is over rated. I hate with a passion how it interrupts the premiership. I'd prefer a Manly win vs a SOO win any day of the week. Each to their own.

Smarter people than me might know more but the way I understand it, is that the long service discount is a maximum of I think around $300K per club and it doesn't apply to one specific player. It is just something general across the club's cap.

Agh for simpler times when all we had to worry about was LOL @Eels and watching the footy.

    The Silvertail's optimism pulse 2025.

OK, So we're are we all at now? No posts after the DCE announcement. Prior to that we were 81% Optimistic and 19% Pessimistic (I was already in that group)

How to F a season in one go

The team might get up for this one but as the season drags on and a few losses start to inevitably pile up the pressure will mount on everyone at the club. The NRL is close and it doesn't take much for a team to be just a bit off and end up getting beaten by anyone. This fxcken noise is going to...

Not sure if you'd written it elsewhere but out of interest, if the club had offered DCE around $1.25M per season for the next two years and we could only afford $750K who would you let go and? All clubs (except Roosters and the Storm) are challenged by a salary cap. Unfortunately our salary cap...

    2026 halves plan

PREMIERSHIP WINDOW ANALYSIS: SEA EAGLES The big call: Daly Cherry-Evans has thrown a spanner into Manly’s plans beyond the end of this season and how they respond will determine the next decade. The upside: Joey Walsh shunned a promising rugby career to follow in Cherry-Evans’ footsteps, and...

Whenever a top leader leaves any business there are always reasonable questions about the culture of the organisation, the people leading it and the people who were directly managing them. I guess a footy club is no different to that except that there is a lot more fan and media interest...
