    Perhaps part of the problem is the name Manly-Warringah, it could be that those people who don't reside in Manly or Warringah don't identify with the team so maybe we should have a more generic name, representative of the whole area. For example, The Northern Beaches Eagles, or North Shore...

    Third party deals ARE part of the cap if the club negotiates them as part of a players contract. It doesn't matter who pays the wages, if it's in the players contract with the club it's counted in the cap. A lot of people misunderstand this concept including some journalists.

    RE: Horses for courses . I would drop Tafua ! I'm surprised opposition teams don't bomb Jorge more often. He's a shocker when it comes to the high ball, can't jump for sh##. Blair is a better option in my opinion.

    All you have to do is watch the Matai incident to know it's not a safe technique they're employing. It's good they're copping some scrutiny over it. The refs will be on the lookout (at least they should be).
