    Team next week

Different Walsh, same ego. His manager calling him an "Alpha dog" was an understatement.

    Caleb Navale

I thought this at the start of the year, when I watched him live. I watched him live again today. He's massively improved in this department, and you could easily tell. Meanwhile, Lodge is unfit as hell. There's really no logic going on here.

    Team next week

He hasn't been given decent ball in like a year. Turbo should never be at first receiver. I have no idea what the hell the halves are doing, but Turbo is seemingly trying to do their job. At the game live, it was apparent that Turbo was acting as the on-field captain instead of DCE. He looks...

    Most underwhelming Manly EVER

He like most of the team, don't care anymore. If they cared, they'd do a lot better. They're just going through the motions. Dropping the captain might change that. I'm worried that we'll get some cheap idiot like AOB for our next coach, so I'm not going for that yet. Seibold has a genuine...

DCE, broken Turbos & a coach under pressure: article

"It's never been about making money - it's about success" ****ing bull****! If it's about success, I'm the ****ing tooth fairy! This is coming from a man who made Barrett buy his own table. FMD it never stops with Penn, does it?

    Jason Saab

I thought Saab started off the year incredibly well. He really improved the yardage carries, and was looking a bit better at his weak areas in general. Then the DCE announcement occured, and like the rest of the team, his confidence dropped off significantly. I heard from somewhat credible...

    Pre-Game Tigers V Manly [Round 24, 2025]

I'd be surprised if an injury stopped DCE from talking. Walsh has survived the 24 hour cut. I think there might be a switch up.

    2026 recruitment & retention

He's unsigned for next year. I'd prefer to keep it that way. He's been meh.

    2026 recruitment & retention

If I were to make predictions about what our NRL team will look like both next year, and in 2027, something becomes quite apparent. This assumes that Jake doesnt extend, Garrick leaves for Bears, and we release Brooks to the Bears. Realistic most-capped team in 2026: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

A little bit of what if... 2019: 1. Turbo 2. Taufua 3. Gutherson 4. Hiku 5. Garrick 6. Hynes 7. Foran 8. AFB 9. Koroisau (he would've come anyway with Ballin leaving I feel) 10. Taupau (same here) 11. Olakau'atu (technically, he did play for us in 2019, but he missed 2018 due to injury that I...

    Pre-Game Tigers V Manly [Round 24, 2025]

Our annual Seibold draw will come this weekend. It has to happen at some point.

    2026 recruitment & retention

I think all of you are overreacting. These are Dean Matterson and Ray Vaega replacements. Not exactly supposed to set the world on fire. Wilson has a lot of upside still. If all goes well, we see Navale and Muagututia ahead of Turpin. In case those two don't fire, Turpin has played NRL before...

    2026 recruitment & retention

Little bit of trivia, Blake Wilson is a pilot, and I have a few mutuals with him. Good guy from what I've heard. Dogs fans seem to rate him, but the knock on him is that he's pretty small. We could do a lot worse than Turpin for a depth hooker, given Tevaga, Croker, and GCKT are all on the way out.

    Jake T.

On Channel 9, it sounds like we're resting Jake for the rest of the year. Good move for Jake's long term health. He's too selfless for his own good.
  15. P

    Caleb Navale

He played 30 minutes against the Knights last year, and 29 minutes against Souths. His stats for those games were 23 tackles/1 missed and 21 tackles/1 missed. I don't think there's any plausible way he could've lost 20 NRL minutes worth of fitness, despite having a better overall NSW Cup...

    Sack Seibold Immediately

The experience would come ala Benji Marshall at the Tigers. It would not be pretty. I'm not saying it will guarantee success either, but at least it's recognising that what we're going through now isn't good. Right now, and throughout this year, we have appeared to been in a state of denial...

    Sack Seibold Immediately

If Ballin was given the reins, it would only make sense from a Des 2004 position. That we are a club losing like ten first graders over the off-season, we can't attract anyone as it is, and we need to lose a bit in order to rebuild around the youth. A genuine, total reset. Not like the Barret to...

    Jake T.

I don't get the comments seemingly wanting him to retire. Sure, we get a million dollars for next year Who on earth are we supposed to spend it on? We're already losing Tevaga, Croker, Aloiai, Sipley, Lodge by the looks of things, and some on here want Jake to go as well. No doubt those same...

    Time to pull the trigger

MCK did surprise me. Waddell's best talent (or lack thereof) has been in his effort. It was noticeably absent against the Raiders. There was a loose ball right in front of him, he showed no urgency to get it, and the Raiders scored. Someone could be a 350kg 65 year old diabetic, but if they're...

    Pre-Game Tigers V Manly [Round 24, 2025]

I'm attending people. For reference, these are the last four games I have attended. Cronulla 40 Manly 20 Roosters 40 Manly 16 Storm 48 Manly 24 Bulldogs 42 Manly 4 Tigers 13+ would pay pretty good...
