    We dont seem to have the ability to slow the opposition forwards down. They simply march downfield most games and we simply rely on our speed or individuals to score points and win us games. How many of our forwards would make the top sides forwards?

    Agree. I think we’re also not very good at the wrestle and slowing the play down. You really notice that part of the game when you watch Penrith and Melbourne play.

    I don’t thinking there is room for both Sipley and lodge at manly. We have enough of those body types. I would chose lodge and release Sipley. Sipley has the potential to be very good but has never looked fit to me and really struggles moving laterally. Just my thoughts

    I hope they swap brown for toff in the 13. I think brown and bullemor off the bench together has worked really well all year. Don’t think Brown is big enough to start against fresh forwards. Has less impact with his running game.

    Ben T dropped lenui on his back from 2 kick offs. His front on defence is top notch and it’s not his fault he is too slow for the centre. That’s seibolds fault for picking him there.

    Let’s get real here. I watched the game from high up in the stands. Our forward were totally dominated. No go forward. Defence atrocious. We score 3 tries from intercepts and one was a push over. Attack went sideways. Roosters bombed at least 3 tries!

    Yes agreed. I think Tom is battling mental demons rather than physical ones. His confidence in his body is not there imho. Plenty come back from long lay offs and look impressive. Ponga, Papps etc.

    I think that Seibolds coaching career hinges on success this year and next so therefore he has foregone long term planning and development of players and is trying to win now. He sees very reluctant to blood young players and is happy to let them leave. Lehi seems an exception.
