    We need to break contracts and offload a bunch of forwards if we are ever going to win a comp and we need to do it this year because we currently have a great set of backs. I’m sure we work on defence and are as fit as any club but ageing 100kg forwards don’t and can’t cut it anymore.

    Any thoughts on talau moving into the 2nd row? Big enough, defends well and reads the play well. May solve a problem for us and if we have an injury to an outside back he moves straight in.

    Ok I get your point and I agree with what you say on the system. I think though he has gotten the reputation that would allow him to be successful at a lower club simply because players would play for him and attracted to the club.
