    Post-Game Discussion Warriors V Manly [Round 2, 2025]

Just a question. Have you ever worked in positions with a first grade NRL team?

Yes, but the hint there is in the job title!

    Post-Game Discussion Warriors V Manly [Round 2, 2025]

Warriors deserved the win, & hopefully Manly learn & improve after this loss. It's disappointing but Manly have had the same issues for a few years now - defence & mental skills. The people in charge of these departments are, Andrew May (Mental Skills Coach) & Jim Dymock (defence).

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Cowboys [Round 1, 2025]

My 2c worth. A really great team effort (especially as it's only round one) Plus playing an entertaining footy style -:cool: Go Manly!

    Just Making up the numbers?

I tried to share with you what I know as a fact, as I thought it may shed a little light on the topic for you. (actually be helpful to know) It seems that you're not interested - so no problem!

    Just Making up the numbers?

Yes, there's lots of moving parts. Coach fired, nope, it's not that simple. I can tell you 100% guaranteed - what I'm saying is not some type of conjured up theory. Have a good day!

    Just Making up the numbers?

There's a team of coaching staff that take care of different areas. To most supporters the quality of those coaches is an unknown, we can't just point at Seibold for the results (good or bad), there's so many moving parts to consider.

    Just Making up the numbers?

Just out of interest, is there something about the culture at Manly that Seibold is creating that you're unhappy with?

    Just Making up the numbers?

Penrith or Melbourne - perhaps a team surprises & makes the GF? Here's my thinking... "The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but that's the way to bet." ~Damon Ruynon

    Lehi Hopoate

Well done to the club, Seibold or whomever the decision makers were!

Jake Trbojevic offers nothing in attack

Opposition players avoid Jake's defence like the plague. Sure, he's getting slower, but perhaps that's from all the covering defence he's done for years! He'll do the right thing by Manly no doubt!

    Trial V Wabbits

The trials are also a chance for the coaching staff to note how the players are reacting to the the roles given to them during the off season, in match like conditions. It's a (hopefully entertaining) test run! Go manly!

one area Manly must improve in 2025

Been saying it for years now, mindset & defence are the team's two major issues. Hopefully the people in those departments get it sorted for this season.

    Jacob Arthur

My apologies, please replace B.W. with whatever is 'reserve grade' in '25.

    Jacob Arthur

Will be interesting to see how he goes, my thoughts are that he may captain B.W. this year & called up into F.G. here & there if required.

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Anthony Seibold joins Matty White on SEN sport to chat pre-season. Seibs spoke well, & comes across as both professional & likeable. As a supporter I'm pleased that he's Manly's coach!

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

I like that he (& or club) are letting the supporters know a little about the team & what's happening around it. He also gives young talent an opportunity. Those two things alone is refreshing.

    The Manly Way

I enjoyed it, and at least Manly supporters get to see a little of what's happening around the group.:thumbsup:

If we are to go all the way in 2025 who is in our 17?

Agreed, PLUS Penrith & Melbourne would need to totally forget how to play the game the way they have been over the last few years!

    The Silvertail's optimism pulse 2025.

Mindset & defence, have been issues, if addressed will be a big step closer in 2025.
