    Goal Line Drop Outs

Sure, but unless the referee specifically calls that it has "broken the plane" then it would just be subjective from the players as to whether it has or hasn't.

    Goal Line Drop Outs

Just one question: how were the Manly players meant to know they could play at the ball?

    Josh Aloiai, and membership discussions.

These type of deals do exist at other clubs. A couple of years back my daughter (Panthers supporter ) got a 5 home game pass, a jersey of choice, cap, scarf and lanyard for $190.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Eels [Round 21, 2022]

I'm sure most are aware of this: he is the son of former Parramatta player Graeme Atkins.

Yep. Cowboys in trouble. No worries: refs to the rescue. Absolute classic double movement awarded a try. Tackled short of the line: yes Arm carrying the ball touched the ground: yes Reached out from behind the line to put the ball over the line: yes Everyone watching: no try Bunker: TRY...

    Other Games [Round 19, 2022]

Another aspect to the Tigers-Cowboys stuff-up has just been pointed out over at League Unlim. Holmes should have been penalised for the final kick off as he ran into an offside position before kicking the ball. The rule is 6(a) below. If you watch the final kick off, he runs over the half way...

    Other Games [Round 16, 2022]

Look at the state of the surface in Townsville. The game has only been going for 20 minutes and it looks like a goat track. Just about every step takes a chunk out of the ground. Commentators and media went on and on and on about Brookvale for years but no-one mentions anything about this crappy...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Cowboys [Round 15, 2022]

Drinkwater grounded the ball in-goal. It should have been a dropout. Why didn't the bunker intervene. They intervene on incorrect in-goal calls all the time. Apparently not when it would go Manly's way.

    Other Games [Round 10, 2022]

A quick summary of some of the "independent" doctor's calls on the weekend. Harry Grant - badly dazed, stumbling. No bunker intervention. Cameron Munster - badly dazed. No bunker intervention. Joseph Suaalii - badly dazed, unsteady on feet. No bunker intervention. Ken Maumalo - slightly...

Annesley's weakly "Why this happened" report - 2022

It's laughable. How can they know the players intention? Only a moron would make such a statement. How did we end up with clowns like this running the game?

    The lies we tell ourselves

Jamie Buhrer was the bench hooker for most of 2011.

    The lies we tell ourselves

I think you must be thinking of someone else. Seuseu only played 5 games in 2011. The first 4 rounds and round 26.

    Dumb Tom tactics

It appeared that the Bulldogs "Tom tactics" were just to tackle him before he got the ball. Must have happened at least 3 times. I guess that's one way to stop him.

Wests Tigers appoint five new captains for 2022 season

Breaking news from Wests Tigers: So as to avoid any confusion, the entire Wests Tigers squad have changed their names to Bruce.

Merry Christmas to all. What more could you ask for....

    Crazy training

Funnily enough, crawling is now a common exercise (not usually done on the knees though). It is mostly known as "the bear crawl" - a great all round exercise for cardio, mobility and strength. It's hard as f*ck and I certainly wouldn't recommend trying 800 meters.

Penrith v Souths. [Grand final, 2021]

I love how the imbecile journalists try to imply that Cleary just decided himself where he would take the goal kick from. Morons trying to stir up other morons. I recall the opposite happening to Manly back in a semi final against the Bulldogs in 2014. We scored about 10-12 meters in from...

    Other Games [Round 25, 2021] ~Final Round~

The surface in Townsville was terrible. Players slipping over and ripping big chunks out of the ground everywhere. If it was Brookvale the commentators would have been screaming about it. And next week it's a double header there. Glad we're not playing there. It will look like a cow paddock...

Game Day: Cowboys v Manly [Round 25, 2021]

So far this round, in the 3 completes games, there has been a total of only 7 6-again calls for ruck infringements. Let's see how many Cummins pulls out of the air (or out of somewhere else) today.

It was Newcastle mate - they're allowed to do whatever they want. Don't know what it is about them but the refs have been gifting them matches all year.
