    Unfortunately this is correct. From lengthy observation it can only be concluded that the IQ of the game's officials is in the "borderline" category. Players, however, must be in a higher IQ category because they constantly outwit the officials with behaviour that wouldn't fool a five year old...

    Yes, agree. The long runs can certainly distort the picture. It's the same reason why fullback run metres can be pretty meaningless as they can gain 100m in a match before they even meet a defender.

    Probably been mentioned on this site many times, but Johnny Bliss was a speedster in his day. He won 12 Australian beach sprint titles in a row. In 1947 he was timed at 9.9 seconds over 100 yards in full football gear and carrying a football.

    I note some skepticism of his "enforcer" status. It certainly took a hit when the Panthers forwards singled him out for attention earlier this season. I'd say Robinson was not impressed with what he saw that day as he has only been picked 3 times since then, and now released.

    He's in the bunker. Unbelievable. But...can he be any worse than Sutton who did the bunker for the Penrith-Souths game and incorrectly ruled 2 Penrith tries as "no try". That included one where the ball was on the ground and the Penrith player put his hand on it. What was he looking at FFS?
