That was just media BS. The journos/show hosts texted Penn and Mestrov to ask the club what the deal was. They replied that they'd offered him the 1.5 over 2 years. This happened that Monday morning. It is a tricky one considering his age. He's kind of a super freak, fitness wise. But then, next year he's 37. We do need more balance in our cap. He's a smart man and he'll do what's best for himself. I guess that's what most athletes do. The fans are the only loyal people left in the game.- niccipops
