    The pride jersey round.

It's not about inclusiveness though, it's about viewer numbers. (From a young persons perspective) White Christian Male Boomers have had their day in the sun and we don't need to celebrate them anymore (no matter what sort of fancy sect they may be part of ;) ) Organizations are picking what the...

    The pride jersey round.

Maybe because the game's fan base is primarily old white men (a bit like this forum)...many of which are starting to die off and those running the game see promoting it as more inclusive than it has been as ways to get more fans involved (and spending money) with the game. I wouldn't argue that...

    Kaeo Weekes

Weekes could be huge for us. I don't think he is the sort of player who creates scoring opportunities but he is definitely one who can spot and capitalize them. It's something we are missing and I think he should be playing behind Tom in attack....which would either make Tom a traditional centre...

    Wingers even more Vital 2023

Some interesting stats from 2018: IMO, there's no point in using Tom to gain us an extra 100m a game through hit ups and kick returns if it means we are a higher percentage of losing him at the back end of the season. I hope Seibold has the smarts to sit Tom down and explain to him that it...

Toovey article .. Samoan asst Coach.

He did actually say he would return after he was sacked (in 2018, when Barrett about to be booted). But I think that so much else has happened since then, that it's very unlikely now.

OFFICIAL: HASLER SACKED & SEIBOLD NEW COACH

I think you're all being a bit unfair to Penn! You need to see things from HIS perspective: ... ... ... ... ... ...

Penrith are not bigger, faster, stronger ...

I'll go one further and say you could even throw a new (and somewhat successful) coach and it would still work. But I wouldn't include Des in that list. Not because he's a bad coach, but because he's not going to be a part of someone else's system.

Penrith are not bigger, faster, stronger ...

A Chicken or Egg type question then; If there are motivational issues at the club, do you think the right coach would (and should) be able to resolve them? Personally, I don't think we could play as hard or as well structured with the team and culture that we currently have, regardless of who...

Penrith are not bigger, faster, stronger ...

I know you did (in your original post @:p ) but I was responding to the exchange with RP. And, as well coached as they are, I think it's bigger than that. It's not just that Ivan gave them the right instructions and training.

Penrith are not bigger, faster, stronger ...

There's so much more going on than just the coach. Chuck Ivan in at Manly after Toovey or Barrett and I imagine it wouldn't be too different from where we are now. The Tigers will be a shambles regardless of who coaches the team...unless that coach can fix everything else that's wrong at the...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Yep 21, was great...except for the constant calls of flat track bullies. And I do think there's plenty in that. We may have been incredible when smacking teams around, but were we ever really contenders. For me the first final against the Storm showed that we clearly weren't. We couldn't adapt...

A la 2021...when we were one trick, flat track ponies who were well and truly found out by teams who knew how to shut down Turbo?

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Burbo can fill in at centre if there's an injury (as well as 2nd row) - which, in fairness Walker could do as well but his rotation with the forwards is part of the game plan now. I think the problem is, who comes off for him? If the game is close, would you pull DCE/Foz/Jake for him? Would you...

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

To big for the halves and to skilled to play at lock...at least as (I imagine) Des sees it. I really think that this is where the problem is. A different coach might find a place for him but I doubt he will be able to slim down or play basic footy in the forwards. Croker is a great example of...

Poll added - Sea Eagles Everyone in League jersey

I really like that hypothetical...mainly because I have no idea what the answer would be. But, I imagine that it wouldn't be a good thing for the company if they didn't get their s*$# together real quick. Which probably ain't a great sign for our club
