More importantly we might get brad arthur to coach manly too.

The next manly halfback right here.

Next season in his new contract at a different club he will be 37. All great players have a use by date unfortunate as it is.

    Jake Simpkin signed until 2026

Sharing the role with croker seem like the best solution.

    Ethan Bullemor

He makes our other props look like their stuck in quick sand. I like the fact that when there is a line break in the middle Bully is fast enough to support.

Its the coach that makes the player not the player that makes the coach.

Despite his age people still compare him to Cleary. Also, one of the few origin level players we have. The fact that Manly haven't built a decent forward pack for him is a shame.

    [Resurrected] Turbo injury,healt..wait..injury - updates

Slater played his entire career in the best team under the best coach. I dont think he could have got Manly to 4 grandfinals yet alone win one. And that's the kind of criticism you get when you never leave the storm and try your wares at a average club.

    Lehi the 1 Turbo centre

Yes if he is fit. But leaving Hoppa to develop there might be the better answer given how injury prone turbo is.

Dylan Brown - $13 million deal with Knights

Dylan brown isnt a half because he doesnt kick the ball. He is not even a star player. Worst buy in nrl history. deadset 34 kick meters on the weekend. There are nsw cup halves who have a better kicking game.

    Lehi the 1 Turbo centre

Turbo probably deserved a rest for the last 20. But If he is fit to play the number 1 is turbos.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Cowboys [Round 1, 2025]

Really slick in attack, great win. Was expecting more of a game from the cows though they were poor.

    Just Making up the numbers?

Poaching is how Manly won their first comp. At the moment if you look at the age and nrl experience of the squad we look like the nrl retirement village. But even with all that age and experience not too many premiership winners amongst the group either.

    Just Making up the numbers?

Well given nearly every premiership coach Manly has ever had has been an ex Manly player might be a good place to start. If i couldn't convince any ex Manly players to coach i would try to bring in a coach from super league with a good win ratio. In terms of players i would be poaching from...

    Just Making up the numbers?

Can't expect a big improvement, same coach and team equals similar result. Bringing in tevaga and taukeiaho might improve our forwards a bit but it wont be enough for a top 4 tilt. I would say top 8 is a good year for this team.

    Pre-Game Manly V Cowboys [Round 1, 2025]

Jamie lyon was like having an extra star 5/8 in the team. Great kicking game and would create tries for everyone around him. Koula by comparison would have no chance in being picked out of position at 5/8 for origin like Lyon was.

Jake Trbojevic offers nothing in attack

jake ranks 45th in terms of run meters for locks last year and is the most expensive lock in the comp. I dont blame jake, frankly i blame the club, and the coach. Also, i stand by my statement that if the club does not improve the pack, then Manly arent winning a premiership for a very long time.
