    Pre-Game Manly V Raiders [Round 9, 2024]

We should be able to beat the Raiders but after getting spanked by the Sharks, I do expect them to put in a better performance this week. If we play well and do the basics right, we should win comfortably.

What will turn Manly from a good side into a great side

The team has points and the only things that can hold this team back from the next level is defence and being more mentally strong 🦅🦅

    Haumole gone, DCE resurrected

DCE could with Lane's momentum. Look what Luke Brooks did to Matterson on his own. 👍

    Haumole gone, DCE resurrected

Watching the replay I think Haumole could get his charge downgraded since he was holding Lane around the chest while DCE lifted the legs. I reckon the legal team should try to downgrade at least Haumole's involvement in the tackle.

    Pre-Game Manly V Raiders [Round 9, 2024]

We had Schuster, oh wait. I'm not sure but Lawton is looking like the likely replacement if Ben T isn't ready to go. 👍

Enjoy beating slimes Eels but ....

Defence needs major improvement especially on Garrick and Saabs side. These 2 should be spending some time in training along with DCE mirroring those shapes to get better. I have more confidence in Koula and Talau's side to make the tackle.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Eels [Round 8, 2024]

Arthur looks surprised that we won the penalty count. Kama from round 3.

    Jason Saab

He needs to learn to wrap the player up because soft tries like that will make it hard to win games at the backend of the season.

    I love Nathan Brown

Awesome game especially against his former club. 👍

    Jason Saab

Saab needs to learn to tackle and wrap this opponent. That opening try from Parramatta is embarrassing with Harper having the time to offload to Gutho and to Sivo.

    Garricks performance at centre

How long can this go for before changes are made? Harper made Garrick at times look bad.

Game Day: Manly V Eels [Round 8, 2024]

Plenty to play for with the recent passing of Terry Hill which also is extra motivation to play well. 👍

Is that idiot still running his FB group?

    2026 recruitment & retention

Maybe flying under the radar to avoid suspensions. 😜

    2026 recruitment & retention

Off field discretion aside since the NRL did approve his contract to play but I do agree you shouldn't put your hands on women. I would offer him $500k-$600k contract but I wouldn't be paying $700k-$800k.

    2026 recruitment & retention

I get what you mean but someone with lodges experience, has mongrel and makes an impact on the field is hard to come by. It's better the club gives him a contract until someone else can do that job.

    2026 recruitment & retention

"At any cost" I'm not sure but is worth another contract extention since he has that mongrel and intimidation that our forward pack has lacked since Glenn Stewart and Anthony Watmough moved on from the club.

    2026 recruitment & retention

The few games Lodge played last season he made an impact and I dare say was the best forward in his short stint at Manly. I would be resigning him asap.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

The Storm do get the best out of any player, but that player needs to be committed to the rigorous training regime that the Storm is known for, eating right and be fully motivated to play rugby league. I haven't heard Schuster doing any of this right at Manly, so it's a big gamble for the Storm.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

We can finally put this saga behind us and move on. I wish Schuster well in dealing with his mental health battles "since I know how tough it can be" and to fullfill his potential in rugby league.
