    Parker out

I understand Parker may not be the most talented centre in the comp but I admire his tenacity; I can't recall a game where he's never put in less than 100%. After the last few losses im looking forward to seeing him run out again. I just hope the boys put in an 80 minute effort. I can handle a...

Poll added - Sea Eagles Everyone in League jersey

Out of interest how do you actually know someone's sexual preference to decide if you may or may not choose to be their friend. I mean I walk my dog everyday at the park and I meet heaps of people but for the life of me I know virtually zero about their bedroom habits. For me, it's how they...

Poll added - Sea Eagles Everyone in League jersey

All very interesting but I'm just wondering why you chose the Pride jumper as the jumper to use as an example to make your impassioned speech. I don't recall you getting on your high horse for the indigenous jumper.

Sometimes; change challenges our core beliefs but the referendum on same sex marriage was proof that the majority of Australian adults understood the need for a more inclusive society.

Good aye Dinga, I'm not 100% sure but I think you will find that as of September 2018 the Uniting Church (which is a Christian based church) supports and provides church based weddings for same sex couples.

Much of what you say is fair and measured but members of the LBGTQ deserve acceptance more so than need acceptance. Its a subtle difference but an important one nevertheless.

HASLER ... fighting to keep his job.

If the club was run properly by the owners then I think Des may have a case to answer, but it's a little unfair to judge him when it's becoming more and more apparent that we are lacking the resources that the wealthier clubs have at their disposal.

Going forward - what investment is needed?

Basically, we've fallen from being one of the financially elite clubs to the middle/lower income bracket. I think the loss of the Leagues Club (for a quick profit) was somewhat short-sited. It could have been redeveloped and it would have provided the club with a stronger financial base; which...

    Planning for 2023

I'm not sure but does the cap increase mean we will have extra money to spend? Or do all the player's contracts just increase because they took a pay cut during the Covid period?

    Manase D Day

I hear what you saying Bearfax and to a certain extent I agree but with the furore, our club has experienced over the past fortnight I'm growing tired of the unnecessary attention all this Gansta crap brings. Making a bad choice is one thing but being a serial dickhead is something again.

    Gracious Ricky Stuart

Kent also thinks if he talks the loudest then his opinions are more valid. His latest strategy is to throw out a few indignant swear words in order to make himself look tough; I get the feeling that his ego is overtaking his objectivity and eventually this will taint his credibility; if it...

[Resurrected] Turbo in a Knee Brace

Yes, there are good arguments for going and staying; we all want Tom fit and firing for 23. There are no guarantees either way but I'm leaning towards letting him go because I'd like him to be game hardened when we kick off next year. Just imagine that little bit of extra confidence he'll have...

    Ben 'Burbo' Trbojevic

I wouldn't necessarily bet on Shane Flannagan to do a better job than Des but I think he's got the knowledge and the maturity to get the best out of a team. We had our fingers severely burnt by Barrett and I'd be very sceptical about blooding a rookie coach again.

    Why do you support Manly?

Born at Manly hospital in 1959 and I can't remember a time in my life when I haven't followed Manly. As a kid; if I couldn't get to the ground I'd have my ear pressed up against the old transistor radio listening to Frank Hyde call the game. Footy, is the only place where you can forget all your...

Happy to see the end of this season...

Its hard not to feel concerned about next year. Take away Foran, Walker, Davey, and Taupau and I honestly can't see us improving.

    Suburban Upgrades (ie us) torpedoed

Why not divide Penrith's $300 million between the four promised clubs; Brookie is already somewhat piecemeal. Perhaps they could extend the Centre of Excellence to encompass the hill. Surely $75 million would come close to getting it done!

The Seven Have Agreed to Wear Pride Jersey Next Year (maybe?)

I just saw an interview with Jake on Fox and he said "their number one thing is probably god whereas ours is footy" It's pretty hard to disagree with his summation.

    next week's team?

Did Alfred Smalley cop a suspension for that hit on Thursday night ? I thought he had a real dig and he wouldn't look out of place as a regular 1st grader.

The Seven Have Agreed to Wear Pride Jersey Next Year (maybe?)

Which leaves us at an impasse because we can't afford the risk of dropping 2 points every season.
