    Kinda like the critics/haters who will find any excuse for a loss apart from the coach. The owner, DCE, the scheduling, old forwards (not the coaches fault though), mestrov, recruitment.

    He was only extended because we happened to fluke that finals win over the dogs by virtue of a Hail Mary last tackle play from Turbo and DCE, finished off by koulas pace and evasion. We were never going to win that game until then. We got found out big time the next week.

    Thanks for all that. We have such a rich history of success achieved by true Manly people, including great Manly coaches and the greatest administrator, Arko. I fear we are getting further and further away from the true Manly DNA that has brought us so much success.

    For that to happen we would have to be getting a replacement half from the Roosters surely, but then what becomes of that new half next year when Fogarty arrives? If we trade DCE for a replacement forward, it still leaves us short a half. Can’t see anyway letting DCE go early makes sense for us...
