Des out coached by Clearly tonight

Using only 3 on the bench of which we lost Lawton, so effectively 2 bench forwards, was our downfall. Koula shouldn’t have been in the 17 and a forward would have been better, like Davey. We were going ok first 15 minutes then the forward rotation killed us. Marty didn’t come back on till 20...

    NRL Daily telegraph Fantasy coach

I’m trying the code but it keeps saying need 8 digits.

So long farewell, auf weidersehen good-bye. ...

I’m guessing Boyle kept as Woods went to Dragons and he is depth but remember Dessie rates him as he was in the 17 before getting injured. He may surprise a few if he gets game time, just look at Keppie. Jorge is for the island boys and a mentor. Still leaves 3 4 spots to fill, the 4 excludes...

    First little off season idea

The team will remain the same with focus on defence next year and our go forward. We know we can score tries. Having Davey for a full season will help as he was a handy pickup before injury cut his season short. He is still an inexperienced footballer but an older head which will be valuable for...

    Club news

Seeing the videos and photos gives me confidence that there is a great team spirit and they will come back stronger next year. The younger guys will take a lot from this season and now us fans won’t be happy without another Top 4 finish next season and a premiership win.

    Signings very quiet

From that list 6 are gone so we are down to 25 and have 5 spots. Bullemor (still not officially announced) makes it 4. Saddler may take 1 spot, Davey is missing and he takes the other leaving 2. Des will try and sign 1 outside back and leave 1 spot open till closer to start of season.

    Bennett

Panthers will win by 20+ if Cleary plays, by 6 if he doesn’t.

    Signings very quiet

How many spots do we have left in our 30. From this year we have Siro, Suli, Jetski, Boyle not around next season. Not sure if anyone else I missed that’s leaving. Bullemor hasn’t been officially announced. My guess is Dessie will be looking to get an experienced forward and a back, potentially...

    Storm v Penrith ( Finals week 3 2021 )

If NRL is a deadset serious organisation then Cleary won’t play the grand final. If he gets off, then Josh should fight it out at the judiciary. Just read that trials no longer count for certain suspensions.

    Josh A suspension ( possibly lengthy ).

Next year they will go back to 2 trials as this season ends on time, no Origin in November and a full pre season subject to various lockdown rules. Teams may need to relocate for pre season. So if we have 2 trials he will miss 1 NRL round. We have ample replacements in Sipley. I thought at least...

Manly's spine is not good enough

Our spine is fine. We just need to know when to take a risk and and in which part of the field. Last night showed that you can’t give away field position and if we held on to the ball we would have had more position, possession and completion rate. At one stage the Bunnies had completed 20 sets...

    Signings very quiet

With our forwards not giving the room for the backs, with Bullemor coming, they will also get Woods for the experience for the younger guys, and it also gives a healthy competition for the players too.

    What went wrong!

Looking at the mistakes, they came from the middle of the field when we made half breaks and lost it trying to offload, eg Keppie, Ola, DCE, and Turbo. Ball security was our downfall tonight. Am sure a few weeks off then off season we will come stronger next season. We were wooden spoon...

    Post-Game Discussion Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

Well we made mistakes which led to them scoring. We didn’t respect the ball. The young players will learn a lot from this and with the core of the squad back next year we will be dangerous. This was a game to be won - South’s were not great, we were poor.

Game Day: Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

5 mistakes and 5 tries. No respect for the ball. The times we hold the ball we make inroads. Season is nearly over.

    Dally M 2021

I have Turbo finishing at 34 points. It’s between him and Cleary who may be on 35 or 32. Could also be a tie.

    Pre-Game Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

I said this last week and was laughed at. I picked a matchup against the Bunnies for the grand final. If we are in the big dance we have a 50% chance of winning.

Where have all the Naysayers gone?

Last week it was all doom and gloom and we were going to be hammered. A few of us stayed true to our team and said we will bounce back. Have you all gone underground or basking in the glory? Have some faith in your team who have turned it around big time and is 1 win away from the big dance...

Tom Trbojevic makes fools of us all as Manly maul Roosters

Defence would have been a worry if they had scored maybe 18 points like the Bulldogs and Cowboys did. To keep them to 6, at one point they had around 3 sets in a row, was the best since the Eels game.

Game Day: Manly v Roosters [Finals Week 2, 2021]

The first 10 minutes of the second half will determine our run. Score a try game over, Rooster score game on.
