    Redevopment Of Brookie

Brookvale Oval will never be a full Stadium looking ground (even if we had the money given for that development). It needs to be part of the grander Brookvale Park precedent layout, so an all seater 26,000 to 28,000 step Stadium may never get the approval. It still can be a nice & updated...

How Roosters defied the stats to win

Saw this article .... so we had 82% completion verses The Roosters 63%, but the overall possession ended up Manly 47% v’s Roosters 53%? How & why ...? The sway was: ".... However, a 5-2 advantage in penalties helped the tricolours secure a crucial 53 per cent share of possession. This...

    2014 Front Row Concerns

http://www.nrl.com/junior-kangaroos-team-named/tabid/10874/newsid/75007/default.aspx Noticed the Juniors Kangaroos coach is Kelly Egan! I'm sure he will harp on/or lobby to Jake T joining the Bulldogs. Mona Vale to Narrabeen is a lot better than Mona Vale to Belmore ..! 100/1 + odds on...

    2014 Front Row Concerns

I really think Jake Trbojevic could turn into something real special. He has been a premier player in his age group since the age of 15 (making all the NSW and the Australian RL teams). The Bulldogs went after him (Crusher knows what sort of player he will be of the future!). He has one more...

A turning point in the game - Friends tackle on DCE (no penalty)

Getting a penalty from the Roosters the most penalised team in 2013, for some strange reason changed in the GF? Manly got a penalty in the 5th minute & 15th minute of the game, that's all (penalty count 5 to 2 in the game to the Roosters). So after the second penalty we had 65 minutes of...

A turning point in the game - Friends tackle on DCE (no penalty)

A turning point in the game - Friends tackle on DCE (no penalty) Congratulations to The Roosters on their win, but there was a turning point where if we got the rub of the green with the refs, we may have had a better run with play in the 51 to 59 minute mark. 51.29 Friends tackle on DCE...

The Manly Corso all looking good …

The Manly Corso all looking good … The Manly Council has done a good job again in putting up all the Manly banners & bunting along the Corso. A numbers of shops done up and Humphrey’s Newsagent has got 3 Huge painted Sea Eagles in the front and a roaring trade with streamers, balloons & all...

Larissa: Back to Brookie after GF?

Yeah I thought so, but nice if it was investigated. Unfortunately the Manly Leagues Club is pretty small compared to its hey days! They should have special access on the night (after 11pm/11.30pm) to The Leagues Club for people who are 1) Leagues Club members and 2) Season Ticket holders of...

Larissa: Back to Brookie after GF?

If the result went the right way ;) we know for Brookvale Oval it is too late – very late Sunday (or the council won’t have it opened at that time?). But really wonder if the Manly Leagues could have Federal Parade blocked off (which it normally does) and have a stage in that open car park...

Post your GF Seating (Aisle & No. of tickets) - Do NOT post sales here !!!

RE: Post here with GF Seating – what Aisle & No. of tickets Really looks like Aisles 139 to 146 (Bays) should all be dominant Manly Bays!! This is the silver GF seating at the Southern End and is going to become the new Brookie Oval for the day!! We have 20 tickets somewhere in there, so...

    The 14 to Nil curse

They had a replay of the Manly v’s Souths 1984 semi on Fox Sports last week and Manly were leading 14-0 and then lost the knock out semi 22 -18. Then in the 1989 GF the Tigers were leading 14-0, but lost to Canberra as we all know and in 1999 GF the Dragons were leading 14-0 (if I recall?)...

Post your GF Seating (Aisle & No. of tickets) - Do NOT post sales here !!!

RE: Post here with GF Seating – what Aisle & No. of tickets There should be, but compared to previous NRL Grand Finals the Bronze Seating looks limited overall, but I hope the Manly Aisles/Bays are 401 & 402 (being that level 4 in the Eastern/Southern corner).

Grand Final Seating Map – Rank 1 v’s Rank 2 teams So we know the NRL (ticketek) hold over 7,000 tickets for each qualifying GF side - 14k in all (selling them this Monday & Tuesday – only Tues if members have not grab all the tickets by then ...!!). So going by previous years when we were...

Friday’s NRL Final v’s Souths - post here if bought tickets/Aisle No.

That’s a pretty good PAX No. but there are quite a few free tickets in the PAX No. system. With the Stadium Australia members if they were not issued ticketed tickets for the game then we may get a crowd in the mid to high 40,000. Not sure but we could even possibly crack 50,000.

Friday’s NRL Final v’s Souths - post here if bought tickets/Aisle No.

Any Manly supporters buying any tickets in recent days? Any PAX No from today? You think the crowd should be in excess of 40,000?
