    Jade Anderson

Didn't watch the game though saw his chip kick for the last try. Guess its good that he has those skills to setup an outside man, though ideally we want/need him as a winger who can finish a try as that's what were severely lacking!

    Our Backs

I did see that, and don't have a problem with Elgey's attack - in many way's he's similar to DCE where he plays off the cuff, which is not necessarily a good thing. Its his defence that is the worry, you will also see in that game he was defending a bit wider and exposed for a try.

    Our Backs

Nice table you put together there - but in my opinion our backline is probably bottom 3 in the comp. Maybe slightly better if Walker/Turbo fully fit and playing. Also apologies if its been mentioned already, but my understanding is Hoppa will only get minimal first grade this year (due to...

    Likely team for Rd 1

As others have stated I suspect Des' preference is Hodko to start at 6, that's not to say he's a guarantee. It was obvious the starting team last night is what he has in mind for round 1 (I believe Api is recovering from off-season surgery but may be right for rd1?). Garrick also looks a lock...

    [Resurrected] Josh Schuster

Carved up here in the no.6, pretty silky ball skills for a big boy

Elgey a Huge KEY to 2019

A lot of people saying he just needs to complement DCE, but Elgey isn't that type of player. Hes rocks or diamonds and mostly rocks in his last couple of seasons (injury riddled admittedly) And I don't think he's the type of player Hasler would select, as stated by some. I see Croker ahead of...

    Hopes for 2019

Lets reverse things - apart from Blake Green and Siro we had mostly the same side in 2017 to make the finals. So there is enough talent there to be competitive.. Just need to get the front office stuff sorted and the rest will follow..

    I’m done with the game

Interesting thread.. haven't got the time to read through each post so apologies if its already been said. Whilst I agree with some of technical coach's comments about refereeing mistakes happening for decades and only now really being highlighted, what I will say is its only really recently...

    Well played Parker

I also haven't been the biggest fan of Parker, mostly due to offering nothing in attack. Defensively he has always been solid. But others have stated would be good utility value off the bench. A lot of Chris Lawrence about him, who's probably played his best football in the backrow since...

Game Day: Manly v Panthers [Round 16, 2018]

We will need some 'dealing' to get anywhere close to them today

    Congrats Tom & Jake

Despite our lowly position on the table, he tries his heart out every week and I think hes been one of our best all year. The game against Brisbane he played a blinder

    Manly v Panthers [Round 16 , 2018] - Pre-Game Discussion

Why not Fainu? Along with T Wright he's the best up and comer from the 20s. Whats there to lose at this stage? Why fill in with DCE, hes a halfback..

[Resurrected] Please, please Trent... Pick Tom Wright

As ive said a thouuusand times the hype is real! Ive seen enough of him in the lower grades to know he's got something special. These types of skills you are born with, they are not coached into you. Hes also a big body which means he wont have a problem handling the physicality of playing...

    Manly v Dragons [Round 15, 2018] - Pre-Game Discussion

The irony here is even with the dragons on top of the table McGregor has dropped/demoted Nightingale to the bench, yet we near the bottom of the table keep executing the definition of insanity and picking Uate.

    June 30 madness

Ok so with June 30 around the corner - what do we all expect to see happen? Any chance of freeing up some dead wood? Uate, Lewis Brown, Jacko Hastings? Would be interesting how it might affect other teams, Mbye to Tigers midseason switch could help us avoid the spoon, as could Norman leaving the...
