    Corey Waddell

Yeah he'd be our buy/rookie of the year at this rate. Admittedly from what I had read about him over the offseason I pictured him more of a wide running second rower. He's doing well playing mostly in the middle, but my fear is over the course of a season he's gonna get bashed up too much (not...

    Morgan ‘Lance’ Boyle

I still feel Tanginoa deserves a spot in the 17, admittedly he was a yard off the pace in the early rounds, but the impact he had last year (injuries aside) shouldn't be dismissed. He's probably got the best leg drive (along with AFB and Marty) in our squad. Wouldn't mind seeing him a bit wider...

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Dragons v Manly [Round 6, 2019]

Dufty is a myth.. cant believe some posters on here actually wanted him ahead of Turbo at some point last year

    Albert Hopoate Jnr

And here are the obligatory highlights from the weekend.. starting at 2:08. Looks like Hoppa in the no.3 with a couple of nice try assists. https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2019/04/09/highlights--une-sg-ball-cup--round-9/

    Manaise Fainu

That makes some sense - dummy half is definitely a big problem for Penrith. If it free's up a load of cash im not totally against it, we have depth there - can even throw in someone like Hodko, Croker, Docker-Clay or Cust there if Fainu needed a spell..

    The Guthersation

Agreed - I mean he's a solid centre who's had one or two purple patches in his career (also injury prone), but wouldn't exactly call him a marquee player. That said, at the right price, id welcome him..

    Albert Hopoate Jnr

Did he even play? I thought he was listed in centres. The 3 and the 4 both scored, though they didn't look like Hoppa from the footage..

    Marty

Assume your talking about the one on Cam Murray? Yep one of the best ive seen in long time..

Gee some interesting names on the bench too. Gordon Chan Kum Tong - any relation to Kim Jong? Viliami Fifita - Viliame Kikau and Andrew Fifita lovechild? Guiseppe Plati - love my guiseppe's pizza

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Manly v Souths [Round 4, 2019]

I think the biggest takeaway from yesterday (apart from injection of Turbo) was the defensive effort in the 3rd quarter of the game, where we repelled them set after set. More of that resolve next week and were a chance.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Manly v Souths [Round 4, 2019]

Too early to say but heard on the radio the other day he might be out a few weeks - and the way he finished last game wouldn't surprise me.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Manly v Souths [Round 4, 2019]

Think we get them at a good time - assuming they clock another win today should hopefully get them a bit complacent and closer to a loss. Inglis would be a major doubt, hopefully Burgess or Cook bust a knee and we get them on a nice sunny arvo at Brookie hiya! The team will certainly get a lot...

    Manaise Fainu

This may have been mentioned already, but just thinking with Elgey not quite setting the world on fire, how about giving Fainu a run at 5/8 at times. Hes got all the required skills - running, kicking, passing. I think hes better suited there then Api who's been tried with mixed results. Just...

    [Resurrected] Reuben Garrick

Yes id also like to see him in the clear, preseason the talk was he was fastest in the club. Couple of times ive seen him in space hasn't quite lived up to that express pace, but being picky now! Don't know if its just fatigue or carrying a leg injury, he did look a little hampered by something...

    Jade Anderson

Im not here to take sides but cant help comment when I see dribble.. When you say 'Anderson - never got a chance under TB' - I think to the average punter that means he didn't get a look in to play FG. Re the Fox, at the tigers he barely played half a dozen games as a rookie before he got...

    Jade Anderson

No you didn't come up with the list but your comments against that list are irrelevant. Keep forgetting we have/had a pretty young list and are in a rebuilding phase.. We will have our struggles again this year and if we make it in the 8 that would be a great result. Hypotheticals of what if x...

    Jade Anderson

Im no TB fanboy and am pleased to have Des back, but some of these comments are outlandish! What, did you expect all these guys to play first grade last year? How do you measure what influence a coach has on some of these younger guys!?

    Jade Anderson

The two guys that excited me the most out of our champion 20s team a few years ago were Tom Wright and this guy.. We know what happened with Tom, can Jade be the one to kick on? Like Wright, there's no doubting his ability, its the application to defence and staying switched on that needs to be...
