[Resurrected] Nicho Hynes vs Nathan Cleary

No, but that doesn't paint Hynes in a negative way at all. Cleary is the best 18 year old half I've seen. The way he controls NRL games already is just amazing. Looking forward to watching his development. Will be a NSW mainstay from 2018 onwards for as long as JT/Cronk have done it. Potentially...

A good thing we clocked off in the 2nd half.......

Not when you're leading 36-0 with 30 to go. 50+ zip should be the scoreline.

A good thing we clocked off in the 2nd half.......

Disagree that it was a good thing, it's a result based business. I would have preferred 40+ f/a over the 20 we got. We are still a long way behind those ahead of us on F/A with really only 1 more chance of a big win (Parra). Dogs/Raiders/Storm/Panthers will be losses, or very close wins.

    Our best lineup yet?

My side also. You pick the best 17 players available, then position them. I know the majority of the fans on this website loathe Brown, but he is a better player than Wright. (I like M. Wright, all effort) Brown is a backrower yes, but until a better options presents itself, he's in the first...

Manly join the race for Manu Mau

The guy could be 140cm tall and 50kg and he'd still worry the opposition. That death stare.

Maloney being a late exclusion certainly helps.

    Non-Manly Games [Round 20, 2016]

Monday nights are great for me, only ones I can watch live! So I've been quite happy with our schedule. Work schedule + time difference always screws me over. (Live in China, work Weds-Sun)

    Recruitment and Retention news

Not exactly sure which thread would be best, so I'll post here. We should consider looking at Te Maire Martin. Did not look out of place in First Grade before being injured, like Green would be a good foil for DCE, and is young with a high ceiling. Moylan wants to play 6, and with his main...

Game Day: Manly v Warriors [Round 19, 2016]

Warriors massive pack is a myth. Mannering, Thompson, Hoffman are no bigger than our back row. Ben Mat is big yea, but Marty is bigger. Lussick v Lillyman is just about right too. Then the bench, Gubb, Lisone, and Gavet aren't huge. Parcel's defence was holding up brilliantly for the majority...

    Jackson Hastings

Not the easiest to run from hooker when your forwards rarely get a fast play the ball, struggle to bend the line, and when your team is constantly being schooled in the ruck.

    Jackson Hastings

Hastings really isn't that good, and does not have a high ceiling in my opinion. I'd rather look internally at someone like Hynes.

    State of Origin

On the other side of the coin, give Walker clean, early ball and he'll run rings around fatty like Mitch Moses did the other week.

    Posting Issues

Hey guys, for the past two days I've not been able to post to a thread directly. An error pops up, the only way I've been able to post is quote somebody, send the post, then go back and edit. Not sure if it's user or site error. Cheers.
