@maxta completely agree. If we can work on playing like this and then bringing such a weapon on top of this....look out. If turbo is lurking around and not being used on every option....That's when he and the team will be very hard to beat.

For the opening 20mins I was watching this game going....that's defence reminiscent of the 2007-2013 era....punishing! The cowgirls struggling to make 20m each set. Smashing them at every turn.

I think where Watmough lost me was his constant sniping for a while about the situation with DCE. He made his point, and I can respect that......then he just kept going on and on about it.
He sort of reminded me a bit of Shane Warne and his beef with Steve Waugh.....fine you have an issue...
He is TOUGH as. That's what I love.

The try was absolutely superb, but it's his defence and work rate which is most commendable. We got stripped a couple of times on his side and the scrambling from him and Tippy Toes was excellent.
Barrett to me is just SOOOOO soft. I don't know how he has been at the Dogs, but to me he just came out with excuse after excuse when he was our coach......and if you keep giving your players an out....they will take out (at least the weak ones).
....legend. The excitement for his brother is just brilliant. In an era with professional athletes who are just tools and primadonnas.....he is a big kid who just loves footy and his brothers.

I think the big positive to come out of last night, besides the obvious of winning without Tommy, is that there is still plenty of room for improvement.
