[Resurrected] Lewis Brown - 'The Utility Belt'

just don't understand why we went in with a really small side against their huge forward pack. When the dogs forwards ran they had2-3 big guys on either side of the ball runner which caused all sorts for our guys. The whole interchange could not make a difference at all as everyone equally got...

    GAME DAY - Manly v Bulldogs [Round 1, 2016]

Agree we need Hassan out there

    GAME DAY - Manly v Bulldogs [Round 1, 2016]

I don't think Trent has this right…and yes time will tell and the game has not even been played, but i think he has to take the blinkers off the new guys he has recruited and look at also what he inherited. I think playing such a small forward pack against a quality pack is just utter...

    GAME DAY - Auckland Nines 2016 February 6 -7

I think Jamie and Lawrence looked pretty strong out there…would not be surprised if Lawrence starts this year with Myles and have Jake, Brown, Marty in the back row. Lawrence in particular did not look like he was injured or concerned from his injury as he put in a powerful run at the broncs line….

    James Gavet

I think he would be a good signing, would also sign Willis Meehan as well on the cheap….that would be a pretty intimidating pack

    Roberts from the Titans

Everyone talking about how we need our new halves and the front row, but am not convinced we have enough very speedy backs….Snake can get through a gap and pass to someone else, or wrap around a back line move and score, but i really don't see any real flyers in our club….watching the highlights...

I'd get the King Dog back for the rest of the season

I reckon if Killer is out for a few weeks/months and Starling/BJ are basically injured for some time then i would sign the King Dog back at Manly to have a final run this season. The team could use his leadership/mentoring and mature attitude at this point in time….when we are basically in...

    Spending the war-chest

I can understand that we are losing both our star halves as they realistically just went to the highest bidder and Kelly was to the opinion that he wasn't going to spend any more than $800k-$1m a season for them. However why keep telling the media that we have this so called War chest to go out...

    King-dawg

Despite the King-dawg being injured the last couple of years we definitely miss his presence on the field. As he got older and more mature he seemed to just get angrier and really enjoyed taking it to the opposition packs. I remember a hit he put on Sam Kasiano at brooky one year (maybe 2013)...

    Jason King or Brent Kite?

Yes Kitey can play more minutes but i don't see how you can call him a dominant prop. He carries the ball well and defends his guts out but very rarely are other packs intimidated by him. If King is fit, he takes it on himself to actually dominate and hurt the other big boppers in the...

    Shane Shakleton

Apparently unsigned for next year and unwanted….he was NSW Cup player of the year in 2013….would think his attitude and desire would change a bit in a sea eagles jersey….would need to bulk up a bit in pre-season because he doesn't look that big for a prop…just wondering whether he would be...

    Richie out with broken neck

Is there anyone bigger than Gower? We need someone intimidating to handle JWH and also run directly at Maloney....Who would our biggest alternative be? obviously Hassan/Gower are relatively mobile but wouldn't mind a large bopper to take Richie's place....ie, I wish the Kingdog was not injured...

    Lawrence & Kite

I actually think Souths frontrow of Asotasi and the younger Burgi are not that great, but guys like Sam Burgi, Chris Mcqueen, Teo, Sutton ect are the hard and big mobile guys to stop who can also run angles and when our guys are tired it will be hard to put them down. Really need Ballin, Choc...

Tears in Heaven - Georgey to Storm

Gd luck George...glad you get to stay in the NRL, am sorry you are leaving God's country on the Northern Beaches!

If Snake is back, where does Hiku go?

The problem is now after his brilliant form the last two weeks, he is going to cost a bombshell to resign....am sure Dessie is looking at him along with Ricky Stuart as potential fullback replacements for their teams.

Just run that by me one more time!

I would actually like to see Big George and Kitey start next week and then inject Faoso and BJ into the mix after 20odd minutes....i don't think we have the right rotation once Kitey and BJ go off.....Buhrer and Faoso as our props versus the Burgess boys ect....

If Snake is back, where does Hiku go?

I would replace Buhrer and put Hiku on the bench instead, he could cover Ballin if he got injured and then any backline position....he is actually not that small either, looks a touch bigger than Buhrer..... I like Buhrer but jeeze he gets belted sometimes because of his size....we really...

    Finals week 1

I would prefer to play Roosters, with JWH most probably being suspended, i don't think they played that great last night. Souths will be stinging to make amends for that lost and will be very hard to beat come next week. I think the Roosters halves would buckle under pressure against the skill...
