    1977 Jersey Flegg Side

I have lists of 1978 & 1979 under 23 and reserve graders (assuming some moved up) but still can't pick em. I couldn't remember Glowheads name but Glenn Ryan would be the right age..

    Tevita Funa

I remember it well and I think Moses may have got a mention as well (or maybe not). The church was St Matthews and they had very good church Rugby Union teams in the 60's and 70's. I think Manly sea eagles players such as Rex Mossop and Dempsey Joy (and probably many others) may have started...

    MVP Manly vs Canberra

    3. Sirro 2. Keppie 1. Jake Great team effort, obvious that they were all playing for each other. DCE's game management in the circumstances was tops, Croker great and AFB put in another fantastic effort. Every Manly player deserved to get 3 points.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Raiders v Manly [Round 6, 2020]

Speaking of Bradman Best apparently he is the nephew of a former 1976 first grade (just) Manly player.

Perhaps he was watching an old wang dance to see how it's done.

    MVP: Rd 5 v Broncos

I was going to say something about Viagra but it might lower the tone of this thread so I won't. :)

    Favourite player(s) from other clubs....

Although he carries on like a tart sometimes I still like watching Canberra's Jarrod Croker. Tough for a smaller bloke and plenty of skills.

Round 3: NON Manly games - discussion

Screaming jibberish most of the time. Should just call the game.

Round 3: NON Manly games - discussion

Haven't seen every minute of every game but to me the refs seem to be now adjudicating from the 10 metre mark and not standing over the ruck like they did in the first few games e.g the Parramatta game the where teams were never on side for most of the match. It makes for a much better game to...

You can have a cardboard cut out of yourself at the game

Loved the black labrador (I think) in the Manly jumper at the warriors game. :)

Nothing so sad as a club with no cheer (leaders)

WOW. Are there any demo's like this for shower cleaning? :)

    Favourite player(s) from other clubs....

Like watching Anthony Don. Getting on a bit but as he is Ron Wiiley's grandson "Is Don Is Good" as they say. Also like Kyle Feldt reckon he goes OK too, finds a way to score a try and I am always happy if he misses the Manly game.

Bronson Xerri: Ban over. Off to Dogs?

Good set and few faults. :)

Does Parker / Suli hold their centre positions ?

You are correct as Rob Cameron played lock in the 1970 grand final against Souths. Lindsay Drake also played in that team. Bradstreet was not selected for the GF although still playing for Manly. I mainly remember Pud Cameron as playing 5/8. Don't remember him playing a lot of the time at lock...

Does Parker / Suli hold their centre positions ?

Absolutely correct that Branson didn't play for St George before the 6768 tour but I thought it was fairly common knowledge he was to replace Brian Clay in 68. My mates and I formed the opinion that Branson was being played into the team and Fulton was the being played out. Like all opinions it...
