RE: Choc 'forced' out of Manly - family gutted My bad, I was under the impression that the club had in fact offered him an extension, maybe they thought they could do it under the salary cap too?????

RE: Choc 'forced' out of Manly - family gutted What has the "back ended" deal got to do with it? I assume he will still be paid the 300k he was owed from previous years and manly would have happily paid him the extra 600k, plus two MORE years at 600k if he had not acted like a little bitch...

    Coincidence....Chocs gooone

This is the most concerning part of this thread. You keep biscuits in the fridge??

We will be out of the semis in 2 weeks

That was always going to happen with the usual combinations not there. With Horo at dummy half at the beginning the service was a little slow and the as good as Hodges was (will be) he took a few wrong options too.

We will be out of the semis in 2 weeks

Exactly any team with only 30% of possession would be down three tries.

    Proud of that effort

We were talking about tonight, not previous weeks. The last few weeks I have been as pissed off as anybody (and have vented that frustration), but tonight they really dug in and had a go. I think we are still a prop or two short in our rotation and hopefully that can be rectified this off...

Maybe Locky is right, but I'd still take those two over any other halves in the comp.

    Proud of that effort

Most teams with only 30% of the ball would be down at least three tries. Missing 4 of your 6 STARTING forward pack HAS to be considered "UNDERMANNED"

    Proud of that effort

Anybody not proud of that effort is an idiot!

    Who didn't show up tonight?

    2v to blame

No but we missed the impact of a forward.

    2v to blame

That's the problem IMHO, everybody knew souths were going to try and go straight through us and when Hasson (a player that has been part of the "prop" rotation most of the year) pulled out he replaced him with a centre/winger.

Matai lining up George Burgess in final

I should have been more clear, the "under the radar" was the old regime. Tooves seems to be happy for the players to back themselves publicly, instead of constantly downplaying it. Whether they talk publicly about it or not, the forwards need some mongrel in them. That's the point I was...

Matai lining up George Burgess in final

That was the old regime not this one. I feel that over the last couple of months this is what we have been lacking, if we can have intensity in our defence we stand a chance!

    Watmough [Merged Mega Thread]

RE: Watmough I really hate it when people refer to professional athletes as "cancer". I'm sure somebody can come up with a better word to use.

Obectively what to take from tonight?

Hodges actually did pretty well. Good in defence and sharp passing from dummy half. Chee Kam did ok, but we need another player who is going to bend the line. Why did it take 50 minutes for Lui to get on the field?
  18. C

    Chee Kam to play tonight

Because going around Penrith worked so well last week. Tyson hasn't been named so MCK is not replacing him.
  19. C

    Chee Kam to play tonight

So he would be coming in to replace BJ I'd imagine. Tooves not a fan of the old fashioned prop?

    2014 Rumoured and confirmed signings.

I'd laugh at Ricky Stuart but don't want to start another argument in this thread. ;)
