    API and Curtis news

Waddell looks the goods though I'd like to see a bit of mongrel from our second rowers. One thing we missed last season was a serial pest who hits hard in attack & defence but also make life hell for opposition halves and fullbacks. Sort of like Tariq Sims, Wade Graham or even Boyd Cordner.

    API and Curtis news

Gosiewski is a funny one. Came with a lot of good press on him from Souths and while he showed us some good energy, he showed some defensive frailties and nothing special in attack with the little game time that he managed. Similar wraps are coming from Penrith on young Corey Waddell. Could say...

    API and Curtis news

Siro had a great connection with DCE on the right edge - I'd say he's a better second rower Lane, even if Lane is the better forward. Scored quite a few trademark, backrower tries off short kicks and hole running alongside DCE. Let's hope that he manages some game time next year.

    Kenny Edwards

Difference being AFB corrected himself after one mistake and has become as humble as they come. Kenny on the other hand has messed up numerous times and is still a little bitch.

But Manly aren't Brisbane, hence why he should never play or us.

Lussick let rip at Barrett before taking Toronto lifeline

I believe it was the second half of 2016 where he really lifted after his mother's death. Was injured early in 2017 and then was in and out until the last few games of the year where he memorably shook the Panthers' forward pack with his controlled aggression. Then 2018 was a write off.

Who will Des let go ?

Yeah, he did go backwards but I'd say it's more so because Kasiano lost the power that made him a weapon at the dogs. Perrett doesn't have power to rely on to start with, hence the added fitness would really help him lean out and gain a bit more impact.

Who will Des let go ?

If Perrett could have the same sort of fitness transformation that Kasiano had at Melbourne then he could be a real weapon. His footwork and offloading ability is tremendous for a prop but his fitness and lack of pace holds him back. Hopefully Donny sorts him out this pre-season.

Publishing of NRL squads to provide greater transparency

On a serious note, good to see Cust getting into the top 30. I reckon he'll be a solid DCE replacement once he looks to retire.

Publishing of NRL squads to provide greater transparency

Noticed that we have a Mosese Suli in the squad. Is he Moses' better looking, twin brother?

    Top 29 Squad 2019

I think Hoppa is 17 or 18 yrs old. Happy to see him in the squad but a little disappointed that Amone isn't there.

    Top 29 Squad 2019

Interesting to see Cust upgraded to top 30 with Croker dropping back to a development contract and Anderson on a development contract with Albert Hoppa getting into the top 29.

    Top 29 Squad 2019

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will field an NRL squad in 2019 mixed with internationals, experience, and some exciting new talent. The Sea Eagles begin pre-season training on Monday, November 5, with the Club having a top 29 contracted squad as well as five development players in a 34-man roster...

    Is it a 2, 3 or 5 year plan??

I think Des will be going for it in 2020 but he will prepare the team like they're in with a shot for 2019. We'll be the dark horse of 2019 IMO. There's no reason why we can't play finals football and at that end of the year, anything is possible.

Transfer market in gridlock until first domino falls

It's ridiculous isn't it? Gould can't get Cleary in next year so signs him up from 2020, forcing the Tigers to release him for 2019. Broncos want "the next big coach" in Seibold so they force Bennett into a stalemate and will have their way with getting Seibold a release for 2019. If Roosters...

    Walker and kelly

Walker is still a weapon. Let's see how he goes with a full pre-season again. Last season he came back straight from an injury while moving between centre and 5/8.

Transfer market in gridlock until first domino falls

It's times like these where I don't mind Lyall sending an email out confirming/denying the latest rumour thrown out.
