    Burbo

He is average at best and indicative of what we have come to accept as good enough. Would not make any top 8 side starting 13. Similar to Croker - “ trying hard” is good enough.

    Paul Bryan

Also shows a lot of confidence from the kid taking a chance and rejecting an offer. Lord knows we need some confidence and steel in our pack.Too many choir boys.

If Croker gets picked again as starting 9 over Simpkins then any doubts about Siebold being a fool will be gone. And he is worse as a 14 as offers zero in terms of impact. Don’t think Simpkins is the absolute answer either but at least he is a hooker and he shows improvement. Tuesday will tell...

Can we all just agree Croker is not the answer ? How much evidence is needed. He’s not good enough and is getting bashed every week. If he’s in our plans then we have the wrong plan. The fact we are chasing the Tiger kid suggests they have finally realized the obvious, 5 years too late.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Tigers [Round 17, 2025]

Why does Brooks always use Burbot and rarely Koula. Burbot either runs that predictable slow outside in line or crabs sideways to cramp the outside backs / fullback.Plus he just has zero intimidation. It’s like having a Ferrari in the shed and using the Datsun. It is f..ing ridiculous and must...

    Jake Simpkin signed until 2026

Outside of the errors I’d encourage people to take a closer look at the width and speed of his passing game tonight and compare it to Croker’s. It’s chalk and cheese. I cannot understand Siebolds obsession with Croker especially with Simpkins showing obvious signs of improvement. Croker is slow...

    Jake Simpkin signed until 2026

Writing Da Silva off after one ordinary game with half the spine out is ridiculous. Outside a couple of communication mixups which is understandable given the halves he had, look at his passing from dummy half. It’s crisp and has a lot of width. Having him , Simkins and with Large in the wings...

Game Day: Manly V Tigers [Round 17, 2025]

I’d suggest there are a few other rounds screaming “what about me”in that regard.

Game Day: Manly V Tigers [Round 17, 2025]

Jerome out I think we win despite the weak pack. Think Tommy to 4 will be a game changer in future for us. Won’t beat the contenders but might get us the two points v Tigers/ Dragons/ Dolphins Then again we could get slaughtered

    Pre-Game Manly V Tigers [Round 17, 2025]

The gifted backline with Tommy where he should be will be why we win if we do. Forwards are atrocious and extrapolating anything into the future re our pack based on beating the tigers is absolute folly.

Inside the meeting that could redefine Trbojevic’s NRL career

Hope this is permanent. IMO gives us a really potent three quarter line with the bonus of hsving Garrick play where he should be playing. Levi is a superstar. With a conventional halfback like Fogarty feeding these guys I think we could lay claim to a top 4 backline. Forwards are...

    Manly In Crisis 2025 edition

Two or three bad injuries over a year is basically a given for every team. Can hardly say Aloia is a champion. He is normally bagged on here every second week. He is ok but if a side can’t handle losing a good prop and an average first grader in the pack then it probably shows exactly where we...

    Pre-Game Manly V Tigers [Round 17, 2025]

Agree with the overall sentiment but that forward pack beats no top side when the whips are cracking playing sides desperate for 1-6 positions. Tommy at 4 should have them in with a chance to beat Tigers / Dragons and rough hope v dolphins. 13th to 16th finish
