Sorry, beg to disagree. His lack of speed and clumsiness has been a major factor in our edge weakness over several seasons. We have had the worst outside backs in the League and he has epitomised that.
I agree that Hopoate went quite well in view of the very difficult circumstances he faced. He will benefit immensely from that experience and his fitness levels will also be boosted. Hope he stays in the side from now on.
Taufua as usual was a liability. He is a heartattack every time the ball goes near to him. Manly simply cannot afford to keep him - time to give young Funa a go. He is a footballer and has adequate pace
Would not be surprised the see Taufua moved to the forwards, as his effective wing days are surely over. Also don't think Miski is up to NRL standard as he lacks pace. Manly may have a surplus of halves as, if fit, young Metcalf is potentially a superstar.
