Silvertails - The online Sea Eagles community

I was in year 2 when I chose my first ever favourite player. The year was 2007, we had just lost the grand final to the Melbourne Storm, and the legendary Steve Menzies was heading into his last season at the Sea Eagles. Most other kids my age idolised Brett Stewart, and whilst 'Snake' was...
Brenton Lawrence has been nominated for the 2016 Ken Stephen Medal.

Nominated back in 2014 for the same award, Lawrence wasn't able to take out the title. However, being nominated yet again, he has been given another chance.

In addition to the charity works Brenton Lawrence has been...
The season is creeping close to an end as another finals series approaches, and that means teams begin to really fight for a spot in the top eight. Whilst the Sea Eagles may have left their run to success a little bit too late, there is still a chance that we can make the 2016 finals series....
Sigh….. So I was busy studying for my university exams yesterday and didn’t do this preview, in fact I should probably be studying now as well but I need something to distract me for an hour or so. Anyway, Manly decided to just not tackle at all in the last 20 minutes last week. Essentially we...

Lyon shifted to the five-eighth role with Dylan Walker moving back to the centres in the team’s last round loss against Cronulla.

"I'm quite happy to play...
THE Sea Eagles off-season shopping spree had them tipped as top four specials before a ball was kicked in 2016.

But disturbing trends in the form lines of Manly’s marquee recruits have the side sitting fourth last, four points outside the top eight as the season reaches its halfway point.

Tongan international Siosaia Vave says the Sea Eagles must be better as a team than as individuals.
