In light of Big Willie apparently signing with the Roosters, Here is the equation:
    (Estimated only!)
    Amos Roberts 250,000

    Anthony Minichiello 350,000

    Anthony Tupou 180,000

    Braith Anasta 380,000

    Craig Fitzgibbon 300,000

    Danny Nutley 100,000

    David Shillington 100,000

    Iosia Soliola 120,000

    Micky Paea 100,000

    Lopini Paea 100,000

    Mitch Aubusson 100,000

    Mitch Pearce 100,000

    Nate Myles 350,000

    Sam Perrett 100,000

    Setaimata Sa 100,000

    Shaun Kenny Dowall 100,000

    Vince Mellars 100,000

    Mark O;Meley 400,000

    Total 3,330,000

Add about 10 blokes that you have never heard of to make up the numbers @ 60,000 Min each

    Total = $3.930,000

Which leaves $70,000 to pay Willie Mason with. Only about a minimum $300,000 short of what he would be on. And not forgetting he gets $150,000 for the “Charity” Boxing event. That means the cap is nearly over by HALF a MILLION 9As I say estimates only but food for thought!)

If they're fair dinkum about Pearce as their long term half back option then I doubt he'd be on only $100,000.

Perrett is a NZ international (not that means much at the moment!) and he would be on more than $100 k. Is a joke if he goes there!!!

3 days ago the roosters had to terminate the contract of Ashley Harrison because they were over the cap and their was no way they could fit him in for 2008.

Now Willie Mason has signed and has said it doesn't require him to take a pay cut.

Someone tell me why the media is jumping all over this?

I was reading the other day that they recently upgradeded Pearce's contract from $80K to $200K.

I'm not normally one to think that there is always something sinister going on or take notice of general conspiracy theories but after having at look at those numbers... f**k me, they have to be pulling a swifty! IMO

I think Amos would be stoked to discover he's on $250K.

Is the $400K for O'Meley a reported fact because it seems overs to me.

That was the night before an International in the UK. I said to my wife that Mason will end up at The Rorters, as his drinking, and "other" consumption mates are there....

If he was a serious business man, he'd take up a potentially multi million $$$ NFL contract, rather than focusing on who he can get off his rocker with.

That said, he's a footy player. One with ADHD syndrome or whatever it is called....so I guess "consumption" in his 10 or so years in the game is of the utmost priority.

Thank CHRIST he hasn't ended up @ Manly. Imagine him and Matai out at The Steyne !!!
