    Who told ARKO?

Arko was told by "quite a number of people" that Des was not acting right.

    Des denies this.

Des is a Manly legend (no apologies for this, Des is a Manly legend).

    So . . . who told Arko?

Doesn't cut it. 2 is a number but it isn't 'quite a number'.

    Who told Arko?

    Anyone??

Obviously someone who seems to know what's been going on.

I also wonder who has been feeding the telecrap with all the "it's the board's fault" information.

Seems to me that the board stating Des had too much control might have been on the money!

Just read an article with quotes from Penn. The club appears to have emails from des's works computer and they are very comfortable if des wishes to take his dismissal to court.

Mate - Did Bullfrog steal a lollypop from you when you were a kid? You take any and every opportunity you can of late to lay the slipper in, just think he must have done something to really upset you a long time ago to consistently give rise to such harsh words.

I recall a judge labeling Peter Moore as 'corrupt' during the Superleague war.

The man was pure scum devoid of any intergrity or ethics

History leason in the summer of 94-95 while he was on the ARL board intact deputy chairman you'll find that evil bastard not only committed Canterbury to superleague but became a double agent feeding news ltd with info from the ARL. In doing so he Shat on a lifelong friend in Ken arthurson. He was a scumbag of the highest order and the world has been a much better place since his passIng.

I'm sure many would take offence to your speaking ill of the dead - he has paid for his sins. I have seen people on this site get very upset when a harsh comment was made about someone close to them who had passed.

Cheers for the history lesson though - being 18 and all around that time things are a little hazy...Yes super league was a blight on the game, am just surprised by the personal hatred you seem to have - was only asking for that reason. Cheers
