Gidley is perhaps the worst player to ever play for NSW. Him and Turner must be related

Gidley isn't the worst player to represent NSW, but he's out of his depth at Origin level. He's a bloke who makes the most of limited potential - he tries harder than anyone else in the NRL I believe, and has carved out a very solid footy career.

But he's not an Origin player. And I've never seen anything from him that is set to convince me otherwise.... NSW will be a far superior team next year with Snake at the back.

If Bellamy is the coach again I wouldn't be surprised if Gidley plays fullback. Bellamy stated his case when he left Brett on the bench for over 60 min last year WTF
