Hate when Manly lose - especially a touch up from the Gummy Sharks.
Trials - not so much. I am happier Manly come out unscathed with no injuries, than the scoreboard that has no bearing on the premiership.
The WCC was obviously in mind to most players & though Tooves looked calm postmatch, there was that old glint in his eyes similar to the look he used to give Chief Harrigan before piledriving him.
Any over confidence came crashing down at Shark Park & its just what the players needed as we count down the days to the big game that does count.
