Injury problems weren't just confined to the Queensland dressing room, with NSW's Brett Kimmorley suffering a medial ligament tear. The Sharks halfback is likely to be out for between four and six weeks.

Kimmorley will have scans today, but Blues medical staff are almost certain he suffered a grade-two tear in just the third minute of the match following an attempted charge-down from Maroons prop Steve Price.

Kimmorley played on but succumbed to the injury midway through the second half. "Obviously it was a charge-down and Pricey just caught me," Kimmorley said. "It was an unfortunate one. Not knowing whether it could be my last Origin, I would have liked to have played at my best - but it wasn't to be."

Why would you weaken one position (half back) to strengthen another (hooker) when you have Ballin that is better than Monaghan anyway?

so being in the Top 3 isnt good enough ? I would be happy to be just behind Thurston and Prince and ahead of Cronk!! Also pretty handy to have the Hooker at #5

God we must be going ok, where are we on the table ? hehe
