seems to be a lot of people underrating the tigers.any team that knocks off the warriors away and the grand finalists in successive weeks will be competitive against a half strength manly pack.they are well coached and ask a lot of questions of the defence.if their passes stick they can beat anyone.will be a real test.

Very true - gave the dragons a run early.

Although the drags did get home, after meking lots of errors early.

we will have to rely on our great defence in this one.was good on friday despite the loss.tigers were very unlucky today.if we lose all the props will be very difficult.with bulldogs and eels away to follow this is a crunch game.its so tight that 3 losses will have us fighting to stay in the eight particularly if you add the 2 points in for those sides who havent had the bye.still , it can be done and brookie on a sunday arvo is our best option by far.

    Definetly a "danger game " !! ( Aren't they all )

I've watched the last few Tigers games on Fox & I must say they are a well coached team. Marshall & Withers create plenty of opportunities , and their forwards have high workrates and are quite skillful. Robbie Farrah is also a good player . I'm sure Manly will be directing a lot of their attack towards Daniel Fitzhenry , his defence is woeful.

10 minutes into the game waltzes into marks place and say "I heard it was 30-0"....... I had avoided hearing the score, answering my phone etc and then she does that to me.

    grrrrrrrr

Yes they aren't toothless tigers this year, I only saw 10 minutes of the match 26/34 and the only thing that beat them was a bad decision to kick, and a silly charge in the guts against 4 defenders with an overlap on both wings. I think it would have broken the dragons.....and that vidref decision was dodgey(hornby) (whether grounded or not) but still it didn't look like a try in actual vision either.
    look out Sea Eagles

trust me this isnt the first thing she has done to annoy us! She has already been barred from drinking with us, and has now found herself on the end of a complete social event ban!.

She may be on a complete ban if she does that again

thank god its at Brookie, Scando is in the city side also, so he will be tired. TOUCH WOOD, if two players are fit enough to back up its Choc and Beaver, king wont last the game let alone back up! Kite is already doubtful so if he doesnt pass fitness test, maybe he can play sunday , two days later, like Ryles in test match..

We have 4 forwards potentially backing up to their one and we will be missing our most consistent front rower through injury.

Not good signs. If Cleal looks like getting a gig then we are in trouble. The Tigers were impressive yesterday.

I dont think the game will effect watmough much in the energy stakes - He never seems to get tired even after 80mins straight

But it sure does boost the tigers.

we will have to watch liam Fulton - has has been running well

Now your ignorance is glaring us in the face. How can you possibly contend that a rep game will have no effect on a player that will play again in less than 48 hours?

Have you ever played a contact sport?

Tigers are very unpredictable. They have Origin Half and Test 5/8 - both creative and able to make a break. Hodgson is a great gap runner and their backs have speed to burn.

Our best chance is to cream them in the forwards - hard to do with so many backing up and injured.

We have a big challenge on our hands - I can see us losing this one!
