I saw the highlights today and I agree the defence was inept but the pace was exceptional . After they missed they could not get any where near for a second attempt

Addo-Carr at his fastest would have been hard pressed to catch him. He barely made ground on Holmes the other night in Origin so I doubt he would have got near Oldy.

Speed doesn't kill, its the sudden stop :p

About 15 years ago I had an old XD Fairmont with a 302 V8 (auto trans) in it that I regularly got up over 180 on Adelaide's Southern Expressway and other country rounds just south of were I live. That speed didn't kill me, but a sudden stop probably would have.

Now that speed was a thrill ;)
Being a Wog boy I was into the Valiant Chryslers and I must say The good old XD 302 was a good cruiser . My mate had one .
Speed is a thrill . On the road and on the footy field

Or Monaro's ;)
I had a four door GTS HQ Monaro, mustard yellow with black GT striping, your typical wog car, I can say that because I am one. Bought for $4300, sold it two years later for $3700 to do the typical England working holiday.
They sell for around $200,000 today , but the way I treated cars over the years, I really doubt whether it would've been in any sellable condition
