Seibs is alright, well at least he says it quite a lot, so he must be.

It's a great initiative by the club to engage members and fans, to increase membership and game day attendance.

I think the DOCS idea, which Seib's brought in last year, is a wonderful concept, however, the groups probably should be 'changed a bit', so that they all get to socialise together, and maybe they do that.

I disagree. The Tigers in that Tiger Town series never looked like they had a playing group leader on or off the field. They didn't have a clue. It was all coaches talking, I was watching that series and thinking WTF aren't the players blowing up. It was cringe worthy, car crash embarrassing and became hard to watch the players were so unenthusiastic.

In a recent interview, Seibold said Manly's strengths are speed in the backline + short kicking game. I wonder if this will be a season long strategy which is being prepped in pre season training?

For manly fans its pretty cool in the off season

good to see some of the work being done. love hearing about the manly culture/standards. humilty is a good thing for the group

when do the rep players return to be part of it, after christmas ?

its a pity they are not there now just to have the collective groove but they do deserve a break

some great groundwork being done without them though

coaching team appears pretty good with a sprinkling of iconic guests

must say seibs is looking a bit like manly supporter alby underneath that bucket hat.

Looks to me like supportive defence, spark transition and live attack. This is the same decal as is on the wall in the other shot. Labelled "2024 Gameplan"

Love the videos. Congrats to the marketing team. A few of my observations:

• It's a pity so much importance has to be placed on wrestling in the modern game
• The size of Jake Arthur; he has grown into a raw-boned body similar to that of Beaver Menzies. Could he become a similar type of second rower?
• It was stated that "we are ahead in preparation to the same time last year..." We won the pre-season comp last season so, if true, we should be in for a strong start to 2024
• We are lucky to have two great training facilities. Brookie has all the mod-cons (like most of the other clubs) yet we also have the outdoor space and fresh air of Narrabeen, and the proximity to beaches and sand hills to mix up the drudgery of training. I can't imagine another club with such advantages.

Spot on, we are very lucky to have both and in such a superb location. It's wonderful to have the Narrabeen facility as well as Brookie and I hope we never lose it. Other clubs must envy us.

Hard to take The Manly Way DnA blurb from him Dymock one of the biggest journeyman assistant coaches in the NRL. I immediately thought bulldog when I saw him.

Really missing Jake and DcE in these for obvious reasons. Was expecting more Snake based on promos.

Loved seeing Cliffy and Beaver speaking together to the players, loved seeing Tooves back at Manly and loved seeing all the players dedicated, focused and yet enjoying themselves.

Let's hope all this pays off in 2024!

Lol yes. Also I'm no scientist but pretty sure you can't instill DNA!
But you certainly can instill Manly values and I like them talking about the 'Manly mentality' and the 'Manly way'.
Hales said it well, it's simply looking at legacy and the players that have come before, Manly always had a winning mentality.

Agree. Of course it might just be clever spin and editing, but with the personnel changes including off-field it makes sense that there are high hopes for 2024. A win in round 1 would be absolutely massive for the club I reckon!
