Okay most people are aware of the Manly curse coaching wise ie if you're a struggling coach and playing Manly you'll get sacked the Monday after.
Fact : No coach has won a premiership after leaving Manly (nswrl, arl, nrl)

Player wise it's coming up at the moment with Tony Williams and to a lesser extent Darcy Lussick and Daniel Harrison

Ron Willey coached a number of clubs late 70's and 80's and Frank Stanton went on to coach Tigers and Norths in the 80's. Graham Lowe coached the Cowboys in 96. Admittedly that's not much but we've also got our old friend Des now coaching you know who

Some players are like that, Inu lost with Parramatta in 2001, the Kiwis in 2011 and Canterbury in 2012.
