The 'Prince of Brookvale’, Brett Stewart, is confident he will return from injury against Cronulla Sutherland Sharks this Monday night.
Having missed the opening two rounds after suffering a hamstring strain in the trial against Ipswich Jets, Stewart says he will undergo further fitness tests before making a final decision on his return.
“I’ve got a fitness test on Friday and over the weekend. I won’t be pushing it. If it is not ready, it isn’t ready,’’ Stewart declared this morning.
“It is a long season and it is only round three. Fingers crossed, I should be out there on Monday night at Brookie.”
