Good team, but I have doubts about the selection of TPJ. I thought D. Saifiti would be a more logical choice - also would have helped us this weekend. The Maroons side will be selected later in the morning. Hopefully, Ponga & Gagai are selected.

They are both gone according to reports from the papers

I think Gagai will be lucky to keep his place (the Hammer likely replacement?), but I wonder if the Maroons will drop Ponga, the incumbent fullback. Walsh has been brilliant this year, but has made crucial errors at times.

No room for Jake or Mitchell?

I would have Tent on the bench think he has done more than RCG, gets a match up on Friday..

We could potentially have 4-5 in origin. Biggest representation for ages. DCE, Jake, Turbo & Guac all probables and Tent possible.

Another list of NSW big names all lined up to be taken to the Gallows
Names are not Important

Good point.

I think DCE 100% in
Turbo 95%
Guac 75%
Jake 50%

Tent needs to go up one more gear to get selected in my view.

Koula and Saab will be in contention in future years.

Unfortunately I reckon they will go without Jake and run with forwards that can bend the line and offload…
Trell has got too much going on and would be a liability…
I would go with May over Tent but it’s close call

Love it Bozo.
I'd probably swap Flegler to start (if fit) drop Cotter to 2nd row and Fifi to the bench.
Quite a few injuries across our squad still to sort out I guess. I'd say Arrow will miss it all.

Hmmm. Can't agree with Terrell May, Utoikamanu nor Gauc (sadly). I think those guys just don't have the aggression needed for origin. Maybe it's because they're still too young. Gauc doesn't run it like his life depends on it. Liam Martin is an example of a classic origin player IMO. We need more like him. I'd also have Latrell in my team. Him and Turbo together are almost unstoppable and we have demolished QLD when they've both been there. Moses prob won't be ready in time so I'd prob have Luai at 5/8th - Hynes on the bench. And I'd have Edwards in for Suaalii. I like the aggressive manner in which Suaallii runs the ball but I think Edwards' form this season (and last) demands that he be there somewhere.

I agree on Saab. If he'd have had a full season so far this season I reckon he would be in the running. His tough yardage carries have improved heaps this year and at the end of last year. Awesome under the high ball as well - obvisiuly. Only thing he needs to improve a bit is his defence, but to be honest I think most of the time the problem is inside him - DCE and Garrick - and not his fault. But I agree - he's a future blues player IMO.

Flagler is out for the season isn't he?? Pretty good backline though.

Good choice to have the Big Fiery Flegler start feathered friend
Between now and Origin time in juries could change both team line ups
But the Great Maroon DNA keeps producing Winning players to step up and do the job
This is why QLD are never fazed at the NSW Big name paper soldiers
You can look good on paper but it is how you look on field that counts

The Bigger the NSW paper soldiers are the Harder they fall to the Might of the Maroons
