    Coach Des Hasler has named a 23 man NRL squad for this weekends trial against the Roosters.

    NRL Squad
    Steve Bell, Mark Bryant, Travis Burns, Kane Cleal, Adam Cuthbertson, Shane Dunley, Chris Hicks, Ben Kennedy, Brent Kite, Kylie Leuluai, Steve Matai, Sean Meaney, Steve Menzies, Michael Monaghan, Matt Orford, Michael Robertson, George Rose, Paul Stephenson, Brett Stewart, Glenn Stewart, Nathan Tutt, Anthony Watmough, Luke Williamson.

    The Sea Eagles will take on the Roosters in all 3 grades from 4pm with the NRL kicking off at 7:30pm.

    When: Saturday 18th February, 2006
    4pm – Jersey Flegg: Sydney Roosters vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
    5.45pm – Premier League: Newtown Jets vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
    7.30pm – NRL: Sydney Roosters vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles

    Note that Witt and King are out suspended and Ashley Alberts is reported to have picked up an injury in the trial v the Comets two weeks ago.

    Good to see meaney in the squad although I would have liked to see ballin and Sione alphabet in there as well somewhere.

    Its great to see meaney getting some experience, he has an excellent football mind and can read the game extremely well.

    its a good side with a lot of the fringe players getting a run. Tutt looks pretty big this year so may be a good chance at the second rowers bench once injuries hit, went ok last year when he got a run
