Tom Symonds says it’s not time for the Sea Eagles to hit the panic button following Friday night’s shock loss to the Eels.

The second-rower is unconcerned about his side’s recent performances, insisting the Sea Eagles’ premiership hopes haven’t been dented.

As last year’s grand finalists prepare to step up their charge to go one further in 2014, Symonds is adamant his side will turn the screws against the Panthers on Sunday afternoon, in a match that could well decide the minor premiership.

How many dozens of stories have we read from teams that suffer unexplained losses? We'll get one from Souffs next.
I'm not blaming T-Red, he's just mouthing cliches and platitudes.
Words mean nothing from now on. We'll be able to tell how serious we are on Sunday afternoon against the 'Riff.
Who's turn will it be after this round to be the bookies favourites? A month ago it was us, with the bookies paying out early, then it became a Souffs love-in, now it's Easts, and I dare say if Melbourne beat the 'Riff convincingly the Storm will became all the rage.
