No, i'm retired. I am smart enough that I was able to retire just before I turned 43, almost 16 years ago

Just on a different note . Retiring at 43 years of age is a remarkable thing to have planned and achieved.
Life is too short to wake up and clock on and off work and then wait for a couple of days off work that go too quickly and dont give you that much time to do all the things you want to do . You have 4 weeks annual leave a year but nothing would beat being retired at a young age and enjoy every day at your leisure and pleasure .
@Mark from Brisbane also sounds like he planned well ahead and is also enjoying the benefits of living the dream . Congratulations to both of you !
For most people like me its back to the drawing board until pension age .

If they did not want the clause in there, it wouldn't have been there. Last time I checked, Penn seems to have a legal team at his disposal and I am sure they are there to look after his company's interests.

I actually just read back through the thread. You should too. Maybe if we could just recruit two more current internationals we could have scraped into 12th.

This is a classic case of a head coach not being able to get 17 individuals playing for themselves, the club, and the coach, as a team.

A tactic to place himself in a better position to force the Penn "s hand more favorably his way in any settlement pay out or to improve his opportunity to seek alternative coaching employment or both ?. Must have been fully aware however how much disruption and instability from mid season that this action then would have caused or manifested for the playing group , the club in general and the club"s short term welfare . Combined with some of the other inconsistencies and also lack of accountability for his coaching practices , still hardly places him in an overall good light . Sure the blame game can be shared around a bit but continues to be very difficult to absolve Trent of his very pronounced self interest and distinct lack of general concern again for his playing group and club"s best interests during the whole episode .
