Personally I would like to see Hastings come in as hooker and to take over the goal kicking (when it comes down to it, right now we have a part time kicker doing a full time job). And I would keep Cullen on the bench and drop Brown's poo arse with Api to Blacktown.

And when we get some props back, Nate Myles should join those two in reserve grade.

you're having a laugh if you think Cullen was effective. He tried his arse off but he is not a hooker. He got smoked by George Burgess' footwork; beaten all ends up. He kept going in for tackles and bouncing off...you can't do that at 9. People talk about Api's service, this Cullen threw most passes above players heads. He was rubbish. I actually think Leary was better when thrust into the 9 last year.

Also, Jarrad Kennedy, for a defensive player, he sure can't tackle. I hope I never see him in FG again.

Interesting that supporters are happy with players that "try".Cullen is not a 9,much like Korisau.This is the problem at the moment,people are accepting of players that "try".Newcastle have players that "try" but will most likely finish last.Time for players that are good

Kennedy was hopeless mate, plain and simple. Billy I'm prepared to cut some slack with because when he came on was when Souffs were running away with the game and there wasn't much he could do to stop it.

Penalties 7-3 to Souffs at our home ground!
Possession 60% to Souffs.
Down to 12 men for a 10 minute sin-bin - for what?
Only a good team can overcome those odds. We may have been able to if we'd had our two starting props, Lussick, Buhrer, Parcell, T-Red and Toovey still in/on our side. But our retention and recruitment 'gurus' punted quality for other clubs' cast offs. Of all our recent signings I feel the one that was bagged the most - Uate - has been the best, along with Kelly, of course.

Green tackled a player without the ball and it effectively stopped them from scoring. It was either the bin or a penalty try. Badger chose the bin and Souffs went on to score twice more before Green was back.

Fair point, but I can cop lesser players who at least try over so-called superstars who don't.

I'm not so sure that players aren't trying,I just think they(Fulton)has signed ****house players.I didn't notice anyone dogging it today,it's just they weren't any good.Thats fine for clubs with little to no success but it's not acceptable for Manly

I would agree with you on almost every other player, but I am not at all impressed with Dylan Walker, particularly in defence. Whether that heavy strapping on his door-punching hand has anything to do with it or not, who knows - but backing away in defence and then chucking a lazy arm out as the attacker runs past you looks a hell of a lot like 'can't be bothered'.

Ditto running the width of the field sideways, weaving in and out of your own teammates instead of running at the defence.
