What is the length of DCE's contract? I have heard 6 years, 8 years & unlimited/as long as he wants to play in the NRL?!?!

Do brown paper bags factor in to the equation? Outside JT, Grub Smith, Judas Foran and Boat Boy GI, DCE would have to have the biggest so far.

Inglis can do no wrong so cannot be mentioned.

No mention of his backflipping due to rain
No mention of his cheating contracts
No mention of his beaten girlfiend incident

From what I understand it's 6 years with a 2 year option in his favour, ie if by the end of 2021 he wants to go around for another two years, Manly have to honour it.

NRL requires a contract to have a specified duration - so its 6 years plus a 2 year option in Chez's favour.

DCE's contrast does seem over generous, and I'd imagine the club is hoping it enhances the membership and merchandising revenue as Buddy Franklin has for the Swans.
