I think I read on ST that there is a sandwich that goes by the name "Reuben" or something like that. I think it originated in the US, probably NY to be precise.....but I'm not 100% sure. It's probably google-searchable or googlable

The scud nickname always bemused me- especially when given to that aussie tennis player Mark Philippoussis because the scud 'came to fame' in the 1991 Persian gulf war but even though Iraq fired many at their 'enemies', most were shot down before reaching their target.

So it's always been a 'dud' nickname to me.


(Keppie isn't a dud...ftr) - lol

Fair enough too, I like Keppie a lot and it has been a long time since we had someone like him, Think Bucknall, Igor, Spud, Rambo, and The Chimp.
Never liked The Poo, he was a real scud. Red Dog would be perfect for Keppie.
