Hey guys, I’m not a regular poster but I’ve read for many years.
If you haven’t watched 360 yet I suggest you guys do.
With this I’m going to go back to the shadows. This whole saga has really dampened my views on the club and our supporter base as a whole.
Everyone is entitled to their own views and beliefs. That is the whole point of inclusivity. Although I think the whole idea of including the rainbow is for a good cause, the way we handled it as a club is nothing short of atrocious.
Many of you have said that these guys are letting their team down. But watching 360 might change your views, did they stand down voluntarily or were they forced to stand down? You’re asking these players to change their view and belief system for something that has been ingrained in them, when footy is done and dusted those beliefs will still be there.
Please be open minded, let’s not ostracize the boys for their own beliefs. Let them sit out this week but cheer them on next week when they run out.
Backs against the wall, this siege mentality our beloved club loves so much, I can see it brewing.
Over and out
