THE Sea Eagles under new coach Geoff Toovey will have a better season than Des Hasler’s new Canterbury Bulldogs side, according to online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.

In the latest market released by sportsbet.com.au, Toovey has firmed from $1.60 into $1.55 to lead his team to a higher finish in 2012 than his old boss Hasler, who is at $2.40.

“Both sides have drifted in premiership betting but the punters think Manly will have the wood over the Dogs this year despite Des Hasler taking charge,” said sportsbet’s Ben Hawes.

“We will know a lot about both sides over the next few weeks so there could be plenty of fluctuation in this market early on.”
