We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. We have been back over a month. I think it is more related to big egos and lack of personal preparation, for a variety of reasons.
Our defence has lacked intensity. The Premiership syndrome is a hard one to overcome. Noone has backed up to win since 93!

I did say my explanation was "simple"Â 
I agree Canteen, the motivation was there last year from the heartache of the 2007 grand final. I think egos along with the Premeirship syndrome is a major factor. Surely the bad press and media banter wanting us to failure should be enough motivation.
