Would be nice if the players union came out and said they support Manly's plight to retain all 10 year plus veterans.

They should go into bat for us to allow $250K a year salary cap payment, supplemented by undisclosed payments by the club and their sponsors.

It's been less than a week since the nrl redefined a dangerous tackle, thus changing rules mid-season.

For goodness sake, can the players union help us out and sort out the mess with Glenn Stewart. Surely, the nrl can see the light and allow him to stay.

IT's a good point silvertail. Not so much to help Manly's plight necessarily, but Glenn's.
It is a player welfare issue, when, like in Glenn's case, players want to stay where they are, they have their lives organised and the club still wants them to stay too.
