The most frustrating and disappointing aspect of last night was that QLD's first 3 tries were all due to a lack of intensity and discipline from the players:
1. Inglis try - no one in 1st line of defence even lays a hand on him as he plows over Gidley, despite them knowing he is most likely to get the ball that close to the line.
2. Farah & 2nd player (can't remember who - Poore?) barely even attempt to tackle Folau.
3. After Farah's shoddy pass, everyone just watches before Lockyer pounces on it.
I blame alot of this on Bellamy. Surely his responsibility is to get the players fired up and ready to do absolutely anything for a victory. This was clearly not the case. The QLD'ers? You get the feeling they would do ANYTHING for Big Mal and their fellow teamates, and the way they defended in the 2nd half (especially not being full strength) showed exactly that. Extremely disappointing.

this post struggles a bit for credibility after naming Lafranchi.

He was more than likely sitting at home watching it on TV or a Gold Coast pub somewhere.
